Who We Are:
Wisconsin Education Innovations (formerly doing business as the Sally Ride Academy), a non-profit agency for teachers and students, has nearly two decades of providing effective professional development for educators. Teachers are introduced to recent research on how children learn and the application of best practice. High quality workshops, graduate courses, coaching, mentoring and customized services are aligned with essential state and national standards and local learning targets. Assessment and progress monitoring is used to inform and guide instruction.Our philosophy of education is shared by our diverse professional team of instructors and the national experts we employ. We expect students to succeed when actively engaged in problem-based learning, challenges, new technology and fun. We honor the individual students and provide them with the frequent feedback and encouragement needed to learn and grow. We respect our fellow educators and support and honor their dedication to our community’s children and young adults.

The mission of Wisconsin Education Innovations is to provide innovative strategic services for high quality instruction that improves student learning utilizing 21st century best practice and research as evidenced by increased achievement, improved teacher performance and data based accountability.
